FaceQuest Terms of Service

By using FaceQuest ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FaceQuest, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FaceQuest is a habit-tracking app designed to help users reduce face-touching behavior through gamification. The App provides features including progress tracking, daily missions, achievements, photo check-ins, and statistics.

3. FaceQuest+ Subscription

FaceQuest offers an optional auto-renewable subscription called "FaceQuest+" that unlocks premium features.

• Monthly Plan: $4.99 per month
• Yearly Plan: $29.99 per year (equivalent to $2.49/month)
• Both plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers

4. Free Trial

New subscribers are eligible for a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged the applicable subscription price.

5. Billing and Renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial period.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• The renewal price is the same as the original subscription price unless otherwise notified.

6. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
• Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your device to manage or cancel.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

7. Account and Data

• FaceQuest does not require an account to use.
• All data is stored locally on your device.
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.
• You may delete all app data at any time from the Settings screen within the App.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Share or distribute modified versions of the App

9. Health Disclaimer

FaceQuest is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The App is designed as a general wellness and habit-tracking tool. Consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns related to skin health or compulsive behaviors.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by FaceQuest and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

FaceQuest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App.
